Headline: Solid-State Battery Breakthrough Overcomes Mass Production Bottleneck, Ushering in the "1,000-Kilometer Range Era" for EVs
15 Jan,2026
It is reported that the solid-state battery developed by Ning Innovation Energy uses new composite electrolyte materials and an ultra-high energy density cathode, addressing the safety hazards of traditional lithium-ion batteries, such as heat generation and flammability. The company's Chief Technology Officer stated that in laboratory conditions, the battery can achieve an 80% charge in 12 minutes and experiences no more than a 15% performance degradation in extreme cold as low as -30 degrees Celsius.
Analysts point out that solid-state batteries have long been regarded as the ultimate solution for next-generation power batteries. Their mass production and implementation could completely eliminate users' "range anxiety" and potentially reshape the competitive landscape of the high-end electric vehicle market. Currently, several leading automakers have signed letters of intent with Ning Innovation Energy. Vehicles equipped with these batteries are expected to hit the market in the second half of next year.
Revolutionary advancements in core components are driving the entire automotive industry toward deeper electrification and intelligence at an unprecedented pace.
